Maya Dust and Maya Sticks for Fire Lighting

The Maya Dust from Light My Fire can be used for lighting the fire if dry kindling or tinder is unavailable. Maya Dust is manufactured from cultivated fatwood pines, with an 80% resin content, it is easy to light even when wet. Burns with an extremely hot flame to get campfires or BBQs started.

Maya Sticks are the other option from Light My Fire - offering slightly larger kindling sized peices to start fires with. Generally one of the larger (20cm) Maya Sticks is suitable when cut down into smaller peices.

I use the Maya Sticks, they light fires well and don't smell as bad as parafin based firelighters. Left them out in the rain overnight once and still lit easily the next morning.
